Oh yes, Halloween - candy, candy, candy. Jack went as James, the red engine from Thomas. But don't make the mistake of calling him Thomas, he would correct you in a heartbeat. Jack brought his train whistle along for the ride. He would not leave without all of his Halloween buckets, all five of them. Grandma made dinner before he went trick or treating, which included goulash out of a cooked pumpkin!

Jack enjoyed going from house to house. Uncle Matt pulled him in his wagon. But Jack would not go up to a house unless the door was closed so he could ring the doorbell. If a person was standing at the front door, he would wait until they closed the door. After we came home, Jack shared his candy and had a few good things to eat. He ran and danced around the house as the sugar rush started.
