Thomas Day Out

The boys absolutely loved the Thomas Day Out. Our first activity is always the train ride. This year we learned a little secret about getting on the caboose. Of course, Jack wanted to be in the first car and not the caboose. We received tickets for the caboose and boarded, finding that Jack could sit upstairs in the caboose. That really helped the ride (and the fact that he made friends with a cute blonde). Alex had a good time munching on snacks during the train ride. Alex was not a big fan of Sir Topham Hat but he did love all the train tables and especially the useful engine shed. The kids rode on the outrageously fast carousal and Alex promptly fell asleep. Luckily, Mommy was riding with him! The workers laughed and mentioned that that was the first time they witnessed anyone falling asleep on the ride.

The kids had a great time on the rides and Jack met with up with the cute girl again for a ride all by themselves! Her grandparents thought Jack was a student in her class - just a love struck little 4 year old.
