Summer Birthday Party . . . all of the cousins have a summer birthday.  Maya turned 8, Jack is turning 6, Alex is turning 3 and Samantha will be turning 1.  Samantha wore her little party outfit for the summer birthday, complete with big bow.  All the kids got to decorate their cake.  Alex ate most of the icing off his cake this year.  You can probably pick out which cake went with which kid - it is not too hard!  Maya's cake is very perfect.  Alex's icing is half eaten.  Jack has the blue candle because blue is his favorite color.  

Noone wanted a piece of Alex's cake (luckily it was vanilla).  After cake, we had a pinata to hit.  Jacob was the lucky person to open the pinata and start the scramble.  We also went to the beach one last time with the cousins.  Alex ended up sleeping on the beach - he was so tired.  Jacob and Jack walked the pier with Aunt Nettie.  They were two peas in a pod - both heading off to Kindergarten this year.  Jack wishes Jacob lived closer so he could see him everyday.

 The boys received remote control cars - those cars have been used non-stop.  They love them!
