For the 4th of July weekend, the family headed down to Cincinnati to visit Nana and Papa, Aunt Julie, Uncle Lonnie, Aunt Joyce, Uncle David, Aunt Margie and all the cousins. As always, we spent the majority of time at Aunt Julie's pool where Jack and Alex played with their cousins as well as Val, Frankie, and David Sedler (their defacto cousins). Aunt Julie's has got to be Jack's favorite place in Cincinnati with it's heated pool and seemingly unlimited supply of snacks and drinks. Alex and Jack spent approximately 90% of their time in Cincinnati in Aunt Julie's pool. Jack really began taking to swimming abandoning his life jacket and getting by simply by using a noodle. Alex enjoyed sitting on the steps by the hoter water jets and playing with his cars. Jack and Alex did take small breaks from swimming to play on cousin Tony's drum set and play some putt-putt.
