The Cousin's Birthday Party - We celebrated all of the cousin's birthdays on Sunday, July 19th. Maya is 7; Jack is 4 1/2; Jacob is 4 and Alex is 1 1/2. The afternoon began with decorating cakes. The surprise hit of all the decorations were the gumdrops and clown heads! After the kids were all sugar'd up, we headed to the beach to dip our toes into the cold Lake Michigan water, chase the seagulls, build sand tunnels, play corn hole, look at the sand through magnifying glasses and run races.

After a couple of hours we headed home for dinner and cake and ice cream and to open presents. The kids were all very excited for their gifts. Jack has been riding his scooter all over the neighborhood and Alex has been bowling everywhere!
