Klackle Orchards . . . It was Notre Dame or Klackle Orchards and Klackle Orchards won because it had rides. I must say that it was a hit. The boys are already asking to go again next year.
They played on the inflatables - Alex needed to be helped on the obstacle course. They then played on several different kind of bikes. For the BMX bikes, none of the bikes had training wheels so Alex was not happy about that at all.
We went on a ride to pick apples - we had to teach Alex not to pick them off of the ground but once he understood, he had a ball putting them carefully in the bag. He is very meticulous about doing things - he would put the apple down, open the bag and then put the apple carefully in the bag. Alex would not let me hold his bag of apples. Jack packed 3 bags full of apples. He was a great big help carrying the apples on the way back to the car.
We picked the pumpkins after the apples. Mommy took several pictures of the kids sitting on pumpkins. We then went on the pumpkin ride. I think we have the most pumpkins in the neighborhood. Jack has promised to help clean out the pumpkins this year. We will see.
Alex was our little guide in the corn maze. He loved playing with the flag. The corn maze did not seem to take us anywhere. We like other corn mazes better.
We tried to end the day with a donut but the line was practically out the door so we bribed the kids with caramel apples. It worked!
