The Final Day. Sadly, the final day had arrived. It was time to leave Disney World and head back to Michigan. We woke up and helped Uncle Pat, Aunt Nettie, Maya and Jacob get ready for their flight back to Virginia. It was sad to be packing up all of our stuff. Once the Grimms were ready, we headed to the lobby to wait for their car and take a few pictures of the kids with Military Mickey.

After we said our goodbyes to the Grimms, we also packed and took one last swim in the Mickey Pool. Soon it was time to check out but we still had about three hours to kill before we were to be picked up by the car service so we headed back to Blizzard Beach for miniature golfing at Winter Summerland. Now Winter Summerland is the most expensive miniature golf course we have ever played (what do you expect, it's Disney) but Jack loved it. We played the winter course first, and then the summer course. On the second hole, Jack got a hole in one!

Surprisingly, Alex picked up golf pretty quickly. He wanted to play too. At the beginning of the round, Alex kept taking Jack's golf ball as it would approach the hole. So we had to go to the golf shack and get Alex his own ball.

At the end of the course, they gave you a golf ball to take home and candy canes to eat. This might have been Jack's favorite part. After playing golf, we headed back to Shades of Green, and then to the airport for our flight home. We had such a great time, but were exhausted when we got home. We put Jack and Alex to bed and begin unpacking our stuff. Before retiring for the evening, we checked in on Jack and saw him sleeping with his Mickey sword.
