Day Two - Epcot. We ran into Epcot for the early morning magic hours on Tuesday. Unfortunately, everyone had the same idea as us and headed toward Test Track and Soaring to obtain Fast Passes. This is the day that we learned about the magical Baby Swap passes. The boys, Mike, Pat and Jack, rode Test Track while Mommy waited with Baby Alex. Then we headed to Nemo and Crush. The Nemo ride was fun. Mommy rode with Alex and Jack with Daddy (that was the theme for many rides and it will probably continue in the future after the Everest roller coaster disaster with Mommy). Before the Crush show, the kids watched stingrays swim. Talking with Crush was definitely a hit! Jack was even picked to "talk" to Crush. Similar to the Friday night Hoop De Doo Review, the spotlight stunned him. He told Crush that he liked to swim but did not ask Crush a question, he simply nodded when Crush asked him a couple of questions.


After Nemo, we went to Soaring to use the Fast Passes. Daddy ran inside with the kids claiming that there was too much confusion at the entrance, leaving Mommy to watch Baby Alex again. Mommy thinks it was a covert operation by Daddy to ride Soaring first although Daddy denies it. As soon as they were finished with the ride, Grandma, Papa and Uncle Matt came and rode Soaring with Mommy. Between the Fast Passes and the Baby Swap tickets, we did not have to wait for many rides.

After Soaring, we headed towards the World Showcase because it was close to our lunch with the princesses in Norway. Around this time, Maya was starting to feel sick. We changed the kids into their costumes. Here are a couple of pictures of all the kids - this is the last time you will see them all together for a couple of days.


At the princess lunch, we got one last picture with poor Maya before she headed back to the hotel to throw up eleven, yes eleven times! Poor, poor Maya.

Everyone had pictures with Belle. Alex was not going to have anything to do with it - he was hungry and tired. Look at Uncle Matt's big smile, I think he finally understood why Mike was very happy to attend the Princess Breakfast and Lunch.



Jack loved seeing all the princesses again. He was happy to introduce the princesses to his Cousin Jacob and tell all of them that Cousin Maya was sick. Alex was more interested in eating than the princesses but he would stop for a minute to catch all the action. We were so happy that he was generally not afraid of any of the characters. First, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) came to our table.

Jasmine came around next. Alex certainly was not going to stop eating for any princess.

After Jasmine, we met the Little Mermaid. Alex is still eating.

Then there was Cinderella. Jack loved being cheek to cheek with Cinderella. Still eating . . . .




After lunch, Alex walked around the restaurant with his crown visiting the other diners. Sleeping Beauty was particularly taken with Alex and played an impromptu game of peek-a-boo with him. Unfortunately, Daddy did not have his camera with him for that moment. Still, daddy was able to get a couple of photos of Alex walking around the restaurant with his crown.





After lunch, everyone but Jack, Mommy and Daddy went back to the hotels. We continued around the World Showcase to check out all the countries. First, we hit Mexico and took a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour - Mexico's version of It's a Small World. The ride was actually pretty neat and starred The Three Caballeros - Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, and Panchito. Jack was scared that the volcano would erupt on the ride. We followed Mexico by checking at Norway and riding Maelstrom - which was kind of like a backward log flume through Norway. Jack and I took some time in Norway to try on some Viking hats. China was next - sadly it had no ride, just a movie. Jack however, found time to try on a Chinese hat. We finished our tour of World Showcase with Germany, which had a model train. The model train, unfortunately, was broken. We heard a lot about that model train for the next couple of days. On Friday, Jack requested that we return to Epcot to see if the model train was running, luckily it was (except for the silver one.) The most exciting part of the trip was the model train for Jack.




After the World Showcase, we headed back to meet everyone and to pick up Alex. We watched the Lion King, where everyone learned about the importance of conservation and the Circle of Life. Everyone rode Soaring again and this time, we caught the Mickey Mouse on the golf ball (one of those hidden Mickies). Uncles Pat and Matt were starting to get sick around this time so everyone went home except us. We also tried the Coca Cola station, where you can try drinks from around the globe. The Beverly drink (another one of the Dis Board finds) was terrible. Jack and Mommy went back over to Test Track so that Jack could ride it again - this time with Mommy. We ended the eventing by watching Illuminations. This might have been Alex's favorite firework display. Alex was such a fan - he would point and clap the entire time. After illuminations, we headed back to the hotel for the evening. The boys passed out in the stroller on the monorail. When we got back to the hotel, we discovered that the ice cream shop was still open. Miraculously, Jack who was all but unconscious suddenly became wide awake once we entered the ice cream parlor in the hotel. We all had ice cream and headed to bed for the evening.
