Samantha turned 9 months old on January 5.  We are already seeing Samantha stand up on the couch and chairs.  It is fun to see her under the kitchen table standing up.  She tries to eat toes under there.  And then she is maneuvering over to the stairs.  She brings her knee up to the first step but she does not quite get it.  She loves to play over by the stairs though and the DVD player is also a keeper.  Today, she found Austin's food bowl - Austin was not too happy about that one.  Samantha loves to say "Oh, Uh."  I have been working on her saying "Bye, bye" and waving.  We have not been successful yet.  She is eating the biter biscuits and some cereal.. We have moved onto the fruits too.  We hear "da, da;" "na, na."  I think she knows what "no" means as she has heard that in the formal dining room as she reaches for a glass dish.  Her favorite toy is Bey Blades - she loves to grab the arena and cause havoc in our house.

Today, Alex told me that the moon is following us home.  I thought that was really cute.
